Joseph “Mike” Felix, age 56, native and longtime resident of New Orleans, Louisiana passed away Monday, December 28, 2009 after a long courageous battle with leukemia. He was born February 9, 1953. Beloved husband of Janet B. Felix. Survived by two daughters, Kelly Felix of New Orleans and Jo Anne Felix of Houston and 4 grandchildren, Myra Mendiola, David Mendiola, Jr., Felipe Hernandez, Jr., and Hannah Hernandez, all of Houston, Texas.
Son of Oliver C. Felix and stepson of Thelma Felix. Preceded in death by his mother, Joanna K. Felix. Brother of Milton Felix, Kenneth Felix, and Martin Felix. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
