Joseph David Piazza, age 68, died on Saturday, September 19, 2009 from complications due to brain cancer. Survived by his wife of 32 years, Mary Clare Ramirez Piazza; daughter, Ana Maria Piazza and loving brother Rosario M. Piazza. Preceded in death by his father, Rosario J. Piazza and mother, Rosemary Giardina Piazza and brother Guisseppe Piazza. Son-in-law to the late Ernesto A. Ramirez, Sr. and the late Mary Theresa Riccobono Ramirez. Joseph is also survived by his loving brother-in-law, Ernesto A. Ramirez, Jr. and many cousins, godchildren, nephews and a niece. He is also survived by brother-in-law, John V. Ramirez and wife Kathy. Affectionately referred to as “Joe the Barber” Joe was a resident of Metairie, LA, Parishioner of St. Phillip Neri, Graduate of St. Aloysius High School, avid bowler and barber in New Orleans East to many devoted friends for over 35 years.
