John Thomas Dick, 52, of Bristol, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday March 26, 2010.
John was born on January 16, 1958 in Weirton, West Virginia, a son of the late John J. and Marilyn (Humphreys) Dick.
John, also known as “Bubby” and “JD” to his friends, was an avid hunter and fisherman and lover of the outdoors, and was employed by Kennedy Electric in Torrington.
He is survived by his wife and best friend Judith (Plawecki) Dick of Bristol; his son Jay Thomas Dick of Bristol; his loving dog, “Sonny”; his sisters, Barbara Howell and Nancy Stewart both of Weirton, WV; his father and mother-in-law Ted and Joan Plawecki of Burlington; his sisters-in-law Tammy Plawecki of New Hampshire and Kim Brown of Florida; his niece Rachael and his four nephews Justin, Adam, Robert and Nathan.
