He leaves to cherish his memories: three sons, John Henry Hancock (Renea), William Hancock, both of Sanford, North Carolina and Rodney Sims of Fayetteville, North Carolina; two daughters, Jacqueline Steele of Virginia and Jessica Newby of Sanford, North Carolina; four sisters, Barbara Campbell of Broadway, North Carolina; Shirley Carter of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Valerie Curry of Orange City, New Jersey and Shonda Currie of Newark, New Jersey; two brothers, William Cameron of Sanford, North Carolina and Robert Cameron (Robin) of Sanford, North Carolina; twenty four grandchildren, one aunt, Emma Mason of Sanford, North Carolina; one great aunt, Catherine Evans of Sanford, North Carolina; two uncles, Earnest Raeford and George Raeford, both of Sanford, North Carolina and three very special friends: Alene Hancock, Jonathon Owens and Keitsha Williams. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
