Gary Eugene Hardin, age 58, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at Hamilton Medical Center. He was born on April 7, 1955 in Jacksonville, FL to the late J.C. and Louise Hardin. Gary enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, gardening, playing softball and anything to do with being outdoors as well as spending a lot of time with his nephews. Along with his parents he is also preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie Hardin. Gary is survived by his daughter and son in law, April Michelle Hardin Padgett and Chris Padgett of Chatsworth; the love of his life and mother of his daughter, Deborah E. Hardin of Dalton; brother and sister in law, Clifton and Sylvia Hardin of Tunnel Hill; sister and brother in law, Christine and Dennis Flowers of Tunnel Hill; grandchildren, Bryan Christian Stanley, Eugenia Michelle Stanley, Floyd Lee Padgett, Jason Padgett and Kyle Padgett; niece, Wendi Hardin Erdman of Gainesville, FL; nephews, Brent Flowers of Cohutta, Anthony Flowers of Tunnel Hill and J.C. Hardin of Rocky Face; and a host of cousins.
