Beloved father of Emile Barbe’, Jr., Gerald Barbe’ and Alice Barbe’ Brown. Grandfather of Jaimie Barbe’ Watts, Allyson Barbe’ Schulz, Shelley Brown, Jordan Brown, and Christian Brown. Great-grandfather of his “beautiful doll,” Ali Brown. Son of the late Marie Muller Barbe’ and John Barbe’, Sr., and foster child of his late darling aunt, Alice “La” Barbe’. Brother of Lorraine Barbe’ Foster, the late Gladys Barbe’ Carlos, Henry Barbe’, Sr., John Barbe’, Jr. and Marie Barbe’ Cyruss. A long time New Orleans and St. Bernard Parish resident. Mr. Barbe’ was an employee of Andrew Higgins shipyards and the Orleans Parish School Board.
