Darryl was a kind and caring young man that loved his family and friends. Darryl enjoyed playing football listening to music but most of all the time he spent with his dad which earned him the nickname “Lil D” however some may say they were two peas in a pod. Darryl had a very contagious smile that would light up any and every room he stepped into which also drew others to him that created long lasting friendships.
Darryl passed away on March 5th, 2022 at the age of 18. He was born on October 5th, 2003 to Mr. Darryl Ruffin II & Tamika Ruffin. He attended Eastern Randolph High School where he was an honor roll student looking forward to graduating and becoming a mechanical engineer. Darryl was employed by Bojangles as a kitchen manager where his energetic spirit showed by the way he performed his work duties and the friendship bonds that was created with other staff members.
Darryl is survived by his Father Darryl Ruffin II (Sharmae “Ma” Ruffin), His Mother Tamika Ruffin, 4 sisters Teiko Ruffin, Victoria Ruffin, Ayanna Ruffin, and K’moni Ruffin, 2 brothers Darryus Ruffin and Aidan Lopez, 1great grandmother,3grandmothers, 2 grandfathers, 2 aunts, 4
uncles, 1 special friend, and a large host of Family and Friends.
