Ambrose J. “Chick” Bonetta, 78 of Bristol, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday April 16, 2010, surrounded by his family.
Ambrose was born on March 1, 1932 in Bristol, CT a son of the late Ambrose and Marie (DeGrandi) Bonetta.
Mr. Bonetta was a US Army veteran of the Korean War and was a printer for Hildreth Press for over 30 years before retiring as a custodian from Wolcott High School.
He is survived by his wife Betty (Guiden) Bonetta of Bristol; his son and daughter –in-law, Jay and Ann Bonetta of Farmington; and his two special cousins Lora Carleton and Gloria Serratore.
Chick’s family would like to thank the staffs of both Bristol Hospital and the Bristol Hospital Home Care and Hospice for the special care they gave him during his illness.
