Allen Oliver Flake passed away on Friday March 19th, 2010 at the age of 79, surrounded by family and friends. He was the beloved husband of Leone Ittmann Flake and father of Diana Flake Baker (James) , Alan Mark Flake (Michelle) and Wendy Flake DeBram (John). He is the grandfather of James Michael Allan Baker, and Mark and Sean Flake. He is the brother of Fred Flake, the late Betty and Ben Flake. He is a lifelong resident of New Orleans and Metairie, but traveled extensively with family and friends. Al was a gentle and generous man. He brought joy and laughter to all who knew him, and will be deeply missed.
