Mother Louise Dorothy Brown-Dixie affectionately known as Maw Maw Louise was born on April 27, 1920 to the late Henry Lee Brown and Dorothy Ruth McGinitis in LaFayette, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her husband William B Dixie.

            In 1922 Mother Louise was relocated to Indianapolis, Indiana with her parents. Louise attended the Indianapolis Public School Systems #27 and later graduated from Crispus Attucks High School. Louise was joined in holy matrimony to William B Dixie in 1948 and this union was blessed with over 40 years of marital bliss and the birth of one daughter Christine Yvonne Dixie-Edmond., however; she was a mother and grandmother figure to many. She had a natural outgoing caring and loving spirit.

            Maw Maw Louise was a loving, nurturing, wife, mother, grandmother and sister whose smile, caring nature and wonderful disposition will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

            On March 4, 2017 Mother Louise heard the voice of Jesus say come unto me and take your rest and she openly received her wings.

            She leaves to cherish her legacy: a loving devoted daughter; Christine Yvonne Edmond (William) Atlanta, Georgia; Five grandsons; Earl Wayne Wilson Jr. Atlanta, Georgia; James Wallace Wilson, Gregory WB. Wilson Sr. (Shiericka) , De’Vin L Wilson Sr and Micheal D Wilson all of Indianapolis, Indiana. Ten great grandchildren: Gregory WB Stewart, Gregory WB Wilson Jr., Onyx I Wilson, De’Vin L Wilson Jr., Jamarreon J Steven, Daivon  L Wilson, Dononvon L Wilson, Daiwan L Wilson, DeVon L Wilson and one granddaughter Shamarea Z Wilson; one sister Henrietta Brown all of Indianapolis, Indiana Two special Goddaughters: Gladys Louise Smith (CL) of Indianapolis,Indiana and Laurene P Richardson of Riverdale, Georgia ,The Wilson family of Indianapolis, Indiana and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
