Morton Mintz, 94, of Bethel, husband of the late Shirley (Hecht) Mintz, father of Janice Kaufman (Stuart), Lauri Triestman (Peter), and David Mintz, grandfather of Chelsea, Jenna, and Nicole, and great grandfather to Maya, died on Wednesday evening, July 13, 2022, at Danbury Hospital.
Mr. Mintz was born in Brooklyn, NY, on January 10, 1928, the son of the late Nathan and Bella (Lienstein) Mintz.
A retired educator, Mr. Mintz taught in the Locust Valley, NY Public School System.
He was a U.S. Naval veteran.
Coming from Florida, where he resided for the past thirty years, he relocated to Bethel to make his home with his daughter Janice Kaufman and son-in-law Stuart and family.
He will be sorely missed.
