Morris Franklin “Sonny” Buzzard, 77, Huntington, IN died at 4:15 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2009, at his home.
Mr. Buzzard was born July 26, 1931 in Huntington to Wilbur and Mary Holzinger Buzzard.
Mr. Buzzard married Jean Ann Stoltz April 7, 1956 in Huntington. She survives and lives in Huntington. He was a member of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Mr. Buzzard retired after working at Moldenhauer Nursery, Orr Trucking Company, and as a mechanic at the Huntington County School Bus garage. Mr. Buzzard was a veteran, serving in the United States Army.
Additional survivors include four sons: Doug Buzzard, Huntington, David L Buzzard and wife Connie, Huntington, Daniel J. Buzzard, Indianapolis, and Duane Buzzard, Huntington; five daughters: Diane S. Stone, Andrews, Donna Jo Oden and husband Mick, Huntington, Dolores A. Schneider and husband Kenny, Newburgh, Indiana. Denice A. Drummond, Huntington, and Dawn M. Klingaman and husband Noel, Cromwell, Indiana: 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
One son: Dean; a brother: Max Buzzard; and two sisters: Marceline Stricker and Marvel L. Harris preceded Mr. Buzzard in death.
