Mrs. Montine Stowe Wade, age 81, of Cleveland. Mrs. Wade passed away Friday, April 15, 2011, at her residence following a sudden illness.
Mrs. Wade was born Feb. 25, 1930, in Jackson County to the late Hubert Stowe and Hattie Barrett Stove. She was a homemaker and had lived in Cleveland since 1980.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Qullian Wade; brother, Willard Stowe; and grandson, Billy Joe Hardy.
Survivors include her son, Buddy Byron Wade of Cleveland; daughters and son-in-law, Mildred and Ernest Gibson of Commerce; Delores and Jeffery Cates of Cleveland; Mozelle and Jeff Simpson of Gillsville; daughters, Blanch Wade of Cleveland, Carolyn Peters of Dahlonega; sisters, Jewell Brown of Braselton, Violia Jordan of Homer; 10 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
