Mitch G. Willson, age 57 died Nov. 3, 2016 in the McKay-Dee hospital after an extended illness.

He was born August 30, 1959 to Robert H. Willson and Joan Cole Willson in Ogden, Utah. He had two brothers, Robbie and Craig and one sister, Jamelle.

He lived in No. Ogden until he was about 6 and moved to Plain City where he resided. He attended Weber County Schools graduating from Weber High School. He continued his education at the Utah Tech College in Orem. He did construction work which took him to several of the Western States. His latest position was working for Plain City as the Public Works Director.

He married Julie Whitesides Dec. 1988 and he became a father to her three kids, Joshua, Jackie and Christy. They had 2 children Tukker and Challis. They divorced but stayed close with all the kids. His grandchildren were his greatest joy and the newest little girl he called “Hayzel Nut”.

Mitch loved life. He was always fun to be around and he had a lot of good friends. If anyone needed any advice or help with anything he was always there to help out.

He is survived by his mother Joanie, his brother Craig and his children, Joshua (Jacey) Whitesides, Jackie (Travis) Cutler, Christy Whitesides, Tukker (Sheila) Willson and Challis (Jamie Jo) Willson; grandchildren, Kayson, Hayzel, Atreyu and Phoenix.

He was preceded in death by his father Robert, his brother Robbie and his sister Jamelle; his grandparents Ray and Edna Willson and John and Margaret Cole.

The family would like to thank everyone for the love and support that they gave Mitch during his hard times.
