Misty was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents. She is survived by 4 children, Trevor Byrd of Kalamazoo, Acacia Byrd of Paw Paw, and Jewell Byrd and Diane Young both of Kalamazoo; her mothers, Marie and Amber Byrd-Chaney of Kalamazoo; 5 siblings, Troy Kiya Byrd of Comstock, Nathan Christina Chaney of Gobles, Brandy Joe Wilhoit of Grand Rapids, Donnitta Chaney of Paw Paw, and Kara Chaney of Kalamazoo; and several nieces and nephews.
