Miriam Kaye Schultz, the daughter of Wilbur and Mabel (Van Genderen) Stanley, was born on May 20, 1933 in rural Searsboro. She grew up in Searsboro and graduated from Searsboro High School in 1950. Miriam was united in marriage with Doyle Schultz on September 30, 1950 in Searsboro. She worked at Van’s Radio & TV for 34 years.
Miriam is survived by her children, Sonja (Gary) Briggs of Lynnville, Kevin (Diane) Schultz of Grinnell, and Timothy (Barb) Schultz of Grinnell; grandchildren, Brandi (Chris) Rollings of Pella, Bethany Briggs of Lynnville, John (Amy) Schultz of Sully, Cassie Schultz of Grinnell, Amber Schultz of Grinnell, and Shannon Schultz of Cedar Rapids; and her sister, Maxine Van Hoover of Mesa, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Doyle.
