Minnie was preceded in death by her parents, John N. and Edith (Perry) Jones; husband, Herbert; her brother, John P. Jones; and 2 sisters–Lela Dodd and Blanche Soltis.
Minnie was born in Collins, Iowa. She attended school in Collins through 6th grade. She then went to school in Baxter, graduating in 1924. She worked as a county school teacher for 3 years.
