Milton Marvin Duckett was born August 21, 1933, the son of Marvin J. and Beatrice Valentine (Means) Duckett in Osceola, Iowa, and passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2009, at Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska.
Milt grew up in Des Moines, Iowa, graduating from East High School in Des Moines.
He was united in marriage to Dixie Clover in Des Moines in February 1952. To this union three children were born, Marvin John, Cindi and Pam.
In 1977 he married Janet Dehming. To this union a daughter, Shannon, was born.
Milt worked in sales most of his life, including for his father in sales at Duckett Ford Sales in Hampton, Iowa. The family moved to Cleveland, Minnesota in 1965, where he managed Duckett’s Resort.
Milt moved to Texas in 1972, where he sold mobile homes and later owned Milt’s Auto Sales. There he met and married Madaleen Carol Bridewell on December 22, 1984. They moved to Kilgore, Texas in 1988, where they owned and operated a mobile home park.
