Milton Dean Marak, age 87, of Stromsburg, Nebraska, passed away February 1, 2023 at Prairie Meadows in Omaha.
Milton was born August 6, 1935 to Clemet James and Myrtle Rosella (Pearson) Marak in Osceola. He attended school in Osceola, graduating from Osceola High School in 1953.
On July 1, 1956 he was united in marriage to Joan Natalie Rech. To this union two children were born. They lived in David City for one year and Durant for one year before building a home north of Stromsburg. Milton was a farmer and enjoyed buying and taking care of cattle. He also enjoyed doing house projects.
Survivors include one son Ted of Stromsburg; and one daughter Melody (Brian) Finn of Portland, Oregon; two grandchildren, Patrick and Anna Finn; one brother Jimmy Marak of Osceola; sister-in-law Carolyn Frund of Spring Valley, IL; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife Joan who passed away January 2, 2020; his parents; and brother-in-law Charles Frund.
