Milton B. Sims, 55, of Alpena passed away Sunday, November 28, 2010. He was born in Harrison, AR on September 19, 1955, son of the late Billie Sims and Charlene Allred Sims. Milton graduated from Alpena High School in 1973. He was united in marriage to Rose Mary Stark on November 23, 1973 and to this union 3 children were born. He enjoyed working on his farm and was self-employed as a truck driver most of his life. He was a devoted husband and father and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. His hobbies were deer hunting and fishing. Milton is survived by his wife, Rose Mary of the home, sons; Johnny and wife Jennifer of Green Forest, Dusty and wife Angela of Alpena, one daughter, Misty Sims of Harrison, brothers; Marlin, Marty, Melvin, and Jamie Sims all of Alpena, 13 grandchildren; Tyler, Caty and Jodi Chilcutt, Michael, Emma, Ashley, Nick and Jesse Jones, Kyle, Quintin, Cheyenne, Colton and Hunter Sims. Besides his parents, Milton is preceded in death by his brother Marvin Sims.
