Mr. Millage “Batman” Watson of Thonotosassa, FL passed away Friday, September 24, 2021.
Mr. Watson was born in Saluda, South Carolina on June 11,1938 to Katie Lou Goodman and Samuel Watson.
Mr. Watson moved to Florida in 1968 from Greenwood, South Carolina, where he was employed with Jackson Products. He later worked as a Longshoreman. Mr. Watson was the very proud owner of Club 57 also known as “The BatCave”.
He was preceded in death by: his oldest daughter, Marilyn Watson; parents, Sam and Katie Watson; sisters, Alice Gilliams and Vivian Kennedy; brothers, Sam Butler, Johnnie Watson and Michael Watson.
Mr. Watson leaves to cherish his memories: one son, Michael Irvin of Columbia, SC; three daughters, Millicent Crist, Melissa Watson and Melinda Watson (Wendell), all of Thonotosassa, FL; as a daughter, Asia Johns of Thonotosassa, FL; one sister, Annie Lou Ware and husband Charlie of Havre de Grace, MD; grandchildren, Tyshein Watson, Kena Brown and Kendra Joyner, all of Atlanta, GA, Toyisha Davis of Greenwood, SC, Ramon Joyner and Douglas Watson of Stamford, CT, Marchette Crist, Eric Crist Jr., Christopher Crist, Tiffany Crist, Jonathan Crist, Kristoffer Clayton and Jamia Jackson, all of Thonotosassa, FL; great-grandchildren, Takaia Wills, Arrione Watson, Quad Davis, Jayden King, Hunter Rae Shaw, Hayes Field, Douglas Watson Jr., Siarah Joyner, Tatiana Joyner, Cameron Joyner, Precious Anderson, Joseph Anderson and Christopher Crist Jr.; lifelong friends, James Kenneth Pickett, Melvin Jackson, Jeanette Cooper, and Jerry Mosley; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other sorrowing relatives and friends; the Tucker Family, McWhite Family, Mormon Family, Johnson Family, Harris Family and Singletary Family.
