Mildred Mimi Vitula Wands, age 95, of Munster, IN, formerly of Calumet City, IL went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, November 4, 2010.
She was born March 5, 1915 in Sedalia, Missouri to William and Laura Jaekel. On March 25, 1933 she married Joseph Wands who preceded her in death on February 11, 2001.
She is survived by three children: Joann (Dennis) OKeefe of Stuart, FL, Richard (Arlene) Wands of Crown Point, IN, and William (Donna) Wands of Dyer, IN. Mimi was blessed with 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, who will miss her very much.
