Our mom was born on March 27, 1925 in South Bend, IN, daughter of Clementine & Leon Dembinski, both deceased. Mom married August M. Armentrout on July 21, 1945 in Rensselaer, IN. August preceded her in death February 16, 1995; 2 brothers, Raymond and Ted Dembinski and a son-in-law, Jim Hanks, also preceded her in death. Left to cherish her memory are her 3 children, Beverly Hanks of Mishawaka, Drew A. Armentrout of Ft. Worth, TX and August G. (Belinda) Armentrout of Granger, IN.

Mom was a terrific homemaker. She loved to make all kinds of pastry and is well-known for her apple pies. She was an accomplished seamstress, loved to crochet, knit, garden and canned many things. In her spare time she worked all kinds of puzzles, the bigger the better. Mom took pride in all she had done. She reached out to those who needed personal care. She was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church for 53 years, before moving to Texas.
