Mildred Penelope Combs Whisler, 100, Ft. Wayne, died February 19, 2012 at Ft. Wayne Parkview Hospital.
She was born June 8, 1911 in Kokomo, and worked previously at Delco Remy in Anderson Mildred attended South Meridian Church of God, where she was a member of the Ser Pra Lo Circle.
She was an avid knitter, crocheter, reader and loved animals. Survivors include her daughter, Vicki Petri; several nieces, nephews & cousins and special friends, Barbara Ashley and Barbara Rohrbacher.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell M. Whisler, in December of 1995; parents, Walter & Mildred Nash Combs and her grandparents, who raised her.
