New Castle-Millie (Goble) Zachary, 86, passed away early Thursday morning, April 24, 2014, at her residence, following an extended illness. She was born on March 8, 1928, in New Castle, the daughter of, Fay Lloyd and Susie (Mercer) Dinkins.
Millie married Frank Goble and he passed in 1993, later she married Carlos “Ed” Zachary and he preceded her in death in 2012.
Mrs. Zachary had worked for the Ron Ray Cleaners in Muncie for approximately 5 years. Prior to that, she had worked, for the Spot Cleaners, and was a homemaker.
Survivors include one daughter, Sandra Kay Norris (husband-Paul), New Castle; two sons, Gary Ray Goble (wife-Ginger), New Castle and Jeffrey Lynn Goble (wife-Belinda), Cadiz; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A special thank you goes to Donna Lukenbill a niece she was very close to for the special care she gave during this time of convalescents to both Millie and the family.
Besides her two husbands, Frank Goble and Carlos “Ed” Zachary, she is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Nora M. Rodenberger and Wilma Lee Dinkins; two brothers, William Alford and Joseph Cornell Zachary.
