Mildred “Mickey” Fox

“I’ve had a really good life.” As the baby of the family, she usually got her way, and today we announce she has gotten her way. After telling us many times that she has had a really good life and was ready to go, she passed away on March 10, 2016 to join her heavenly family and friends.

Mildred “Mickey” Jenny Anderson Crase Fox was born on July 8, 1924 to Joseph and Florence Anderson. She grew up in Ogden, Utah and graduated from Ogden High School in 1942. Her friendship with her classmates continued throughout her life. They all played bridge together into their 80’s. She married her first husband, Clarence Crase, in 1942. They remained friends and never stopped loving each other. They had two children, Karen and Scott. She married her second husband, Glen Fox, in 1970.

She always said she didn’t have a talent, but that is not true. She had the talents of love and kindness that no one else can equal. You can’t take a class in those. Her hobbies included water aerobics, bridge, walking, and traveling.

She is survived by her daughter, Karen (Bill) Luck; grandchildren; Julie, Michael, Paige, Sabra, Monica, and Bryan; 13 great grandchildren, and 12 great, great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Lyman and Kenneth, sister Flossy Becraft, her husbands, her son, Scott, daughter-in-law, Karen, and a great grandson, Michael S. Earl, Jr.

Special thanks to Peach Tree Assisted Living and Quail Meadows Assisted Living for all their love and care. You gave her quality of life.
