Mrs. Mildred M. “Millie” (Jacobson) Thomas, 100, of Peru, formerly of Grand Ridge, passed away Thursday afternoon, July 26, 2012, at Heritage Health of LaSalle. Mrs. Thomas was born on April 17, 1912, in Chicago, IL to Grover and Selma (Heilstedt) Jacobson.
She married Glen Thomas on February 14, 1957, at the Zion United Church of Christ in Peru. She worked at Peru Federal and was a homemaker.
She is survived by one brother, Floyd Jacobson of LaSalle, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband on January 31, 1983; two sisters, Phyllis Sampson and Alice Grubich; one brother, Richard Jacobson.
