Mildred Louise “Millie” Moore, 88, of Anderson, went to be with the Lord on January 9, 2015, at Westminster Village in Muncie. She was born on April 9, 1926, to Velma and Henry Cozee in New Washington, Indiana, and resided most of her life in Anderson.
She retired from Delco Remy in 1980 after 30 years of service. Millie was a member of the Grace Baptist Church, where she spent many happy hours working with the Jolly Keenagers. Millie had a passion for God and her family. She continued to witness for the Lord at Westminster Village and had a loving celebration with all of her family at Thanksgiving.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence E. Moore; her loving daughter, Mickey Darlene Stafford; and sister, Katherine Woltz.
Millie is survived by her loving daughter, Peggy Jean (May), husband Andy, Roby of Alexandria; grandchildren, Joshua (Kelly) Roby, Carrie (Brian) Dyer, Rocky Holland, and Jake Isaiah; great-grandchildren, Luke Roby, Kaya Dyer, and Tecumseh Dyer; and siblings, Henry Cozee and Emory Cozee.
