Salem- Mildred A. (Millie) Loudon, 89, died at 10:00 p.m. Saturday, September 6, 2014 at the Salem Regional Medical Center. She was born February 24, 1925 in Salem, the daughter of the late Harry and Alice (Furrer) Johnson. Millie was a 1943 Salem High School graduate. She was employed for 26 years for the Salem Label Company in the Shipping and Receiving Department. She had also previously worked for the Salem China Company. Millie was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Salem Senior Citizen’s, and the Salem Retiree’s. She enjoyed her family, gambling, and eating out. Her husband Jerald Loudon, whom she married September 21, 1946, preceded her in death March 27, 1990. She was also preceded in death by a grandson Jason E. Gudat. Survivors include two daughters; Karen (Arden) Harris of Salem, and Janice (George) Black of Lisbon; Six grandchildren; Stephanie (Brian) Burns, Jaymie (Josh) Andrews, Sara (Jim) Steigerwald, Aaron Black, Natalie (Ron) Blevins, Tre (Brianne) Black. Thirteen great grandchildren and Six grandchildren.
