Mildred J. Kocher Kirkman, 102, Bradenton, passed away February 19, 2012 at Bradenton Health Care-Bradenton, Florida. She was born May 25, 1909 in East Germantown, Indiana.

Formerly of Anderson, she resided in Bradenton, Florida since 1984. Mildred was a homemaker. She was formerly a member of East Lynn Christian Church. Mildred loved M & Ms and watching the Tampa Bay Rays and Tiger Woods on TV.

She enjoyed sewing and quilted over 125 quilts. She enjoyed playing duplicate bridge three days a week at the Bridge Center in Bradenton. Mildred became a Silver Life Master in February of 2001. She is survived by her daughter, Susie Mills Milton of Bradenton, Florida; grandchildren, Sally Mills of Bradenton, Denny Mills of Anderson, and Ronnie Mills Jeanette Bradenton; great grandchildren, Matt Mills Melissa of Punta Gorda, Florida, Ryan Mills Christine of Austin, Texas, Jason Barnett Angel of Bradenton and Tiffany Anderson of Bradenton, Florida; and great great grandchildren, Klayton Jeffries of Anderson and Haylee, Jacob and Layla of Bradenton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert & Mabel Kocher; husband of 56 years, John Kirkman in 1987; brother, Melvin Kocher; grandson, Steve Mills on July 11, 2009 and great granddaughter, Holly Mills on July 11, 1999.
