Mildred Gause, 78, of Fort Pierce, Florida, passed away after a brief illness, on December 18, 2019.
Mildred was born on November 12, 1941, in Mount Healthy, Ohio to Raymond and Mildred Childress Schwieterman. Her family moved to Fort Pierce in the late 1940s. Mildred worked as an electrical helper and then for Publix Supermarket as a deli clerk. She liked to crochet and fish, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Mildred was the beloved mother of John Stevens, Eugene Stevens, and Jamie Gause; cherished grandmother of six, JohnAdam Stevens, Ashley Groothouse, Vicki Groothouse, Char Stevens, Brock Stevens, and Ty Stevens; three great-grandchildren, Rayley, Keelie, and Koah; dear sister of Mary Harrison Ashton, Linda Storey, Carolyn Wilkerson, and Bernard Schwieterman. She is also survived by many more relatives and friends.
