Gardner and his wife Chris of Pasadena; daughters, Bernice Fuller and her husband Butch of Summersville SC, Joan Berger and her husband David of Hilton Head SC, Joanne Blades and her husband Lee of Glen Burnie; brothers, Rev. Jerry N. Hodge of Sumter SC, Robert Hodge of Manning SC, and her sisters, Athlene Thams, Ann McDonald both of Sumter SC, and Sarah Giddings of Florence SC; 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
