Mildred Ashworth Taylor, 87, of 5160 George Taylor Road, Spencer, died on Sunday, February 20, 2011 at the Blue Ridge Nursing Center, Stuart. She was born in Henry County on August 19, 1923 to the late Lucy Ashworth Taylor and George William Taylor. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank Stanley Taylor; a son Jimmy Taylor; a brother, James Taylor; and a great – granddaughter, Samantha Taylor. Mrs. Taylor was retired from the Henry County Schools where she drove a school bus and worked in the school cafeteria. Surviving are a son Wayne Taylor of Spencer; a sister, Minnie Lee Davis of Austin, Texas; a daughter-in-law, Nancy Taylor of Spencer; grandchildren, Stan Taylor, Rhonda White, Rob Taylor, Jonathan Taylor and nine great- grandchildren.
