Mildred “Milly” Ann Tate of Indianapolis, Indiana was called to heaven on Monday, August 19, 2019 at the age of 72. She was born on October 9, 1946 to Gertrude Etter and Charles Lee. Millly received her GED from Washington High School. She did various occupations throughout her professional career all while raising four beautiful children named Tonya, Cassandra, Sonya, and Juan.
Millly enjoyed cooking and being around her family and friends the most. She always wanted you to be yourself and enjoy life to its full potential, and that’s exactly what she did. She was loved by many and her captivating spirit will forever follow each individual she has encountered in her life.
Mildred Ann Tate is survived by her children, Tonya (Brian), Cassandra (Harry), Sonya, and Juan (Shadava); her brothers, Carl Sykes and James Herring; 18 grandchildren named Damon (Leila), James, Dominique, Ch’Kyra, Keith, Kenzhana, Alia, Kia, Juan, Jr., Jason Joey, Terran, Jhaiy, Jhace, Jhamie, Jha’Marie, Tahlor, Miami Dream; and eight great-grandchildren named Jae’l, Mia, Lola, Kahley, Kaplan, Kherah, Keion, and Monreaux, and host of other family members and friends.
