Mildred Ann (Millie) Jonas passed away in the very early hours of August 25, 2017 at
Brookdale Assisted Living in Twin Falls, ID. Mom was born on July 31, 1924 in Buffalo County NE to Ludvick and Agnes Gross. She was the fourth of eight children. Mom celebrated a very happy 93rd birthday this last July 31st. Mom married Melvin D. Jonas on April 10, 1944in Burwell, NE. They resided in Burwell until 1956 when they moved to Twin Falls, ID. In 1970 they moved to Jerome, ID and operated their farm until their retirement in 1984. They then moved into town.
Mom had worked for Bud’s Duds, Van’s Department Store and Intermountain Gas Co. for many years. She was active in the Appleton Grange for 40 plus years, St.
