Mr. Miguel Angel Carracedo, age 85, beloved husband of Herlinda Palaez Carracedo of Milford, passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2008 in the family’s home in Madison.
Miguel was born on September 16, 1923 in Holguin, Cuba and immigrated into the United States of America in 1959. He was a resident of Milford since 1965 and a Mechanic by trade. Miguel enjoyed working with his hands, crafting many items from wood. He and his family enjoyed many summers on Cape Cod, MA, where they have a second home. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather and was a kind and gentle man. Miguel will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his wife he leaves a devoted daughter, Rose Mary Gates and her husband Wayne of Madison, two cherished grandchildren, Melinda Gates of Waterford and Kenneth Gates of Madison. He was predeceased by twelve brothers and sisters.
