Mickey Miller Dunkley died on July 13, 2016 at 83 years old. He was born in Thermopolis, Wyoming on December 11, 1932, the son of Benjamin Miller and Dorothy Dunkley.
Preceded in death by his parents, three brothers: Paul W. Kazarian, Ben Dee Dunkley, and Jack R. Dunkley, and his beautiful wife, Janet Gay Berkley. They married on July 13, 1955 and were together until she passed in December of 2009.
He is survived by his sister, Madaline (Madge) and brother-in- law, Lee Padilla of Riverdale. He has five living children: Robyn Fowler of Caldwell Idaho; Ben Miller and Stacy Lee Dunkley of Mantua, Utah; Faun Henson of Roy, Utah; Jack Richard Dunkley of Riverdale, Utah and Paul K. Dunkley of Roy, Utah. He has eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
In his younger days, Mick was a Golden Gloves boxer with several knockouts under his belt. He served in the Army’s 6th Infantry Division, where he was stationed in Germany.
Mick lived in Ogden where he worked for Evans Grain as the Grain Manager until he retired in 1996. That’s when his life really began. Doing what he loved: listening to classical music and helping his family and friends with their gardening.
