Michelle Kay Hardy, 63, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away September 30, 2016. She was born February 10, 1953 to James Ross Cottom and Helen Bernice (Smith) Cottom. Michelle collected angels and bears. She is survived by her daughter Crystal Lynn Ray, her husband Ashley; grandchildren Corey Ray, McKenzie Ray, and Maddie Ray; sisters Donna Gregg, Judith Merritt, Violet Birzer and Carolyn Haskett; brothers James Ross Cottom Jr., David McCarter, and Robert McCarter; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; son Brian Michael Hardy; and sister Verdina Belle.
