Michele “Maiche” F. Arpano, 93, of Leominster died, Tuesday, March 05, 2013, in Clinton Hospital. He was born on June 16, 1919, in Leominster, MA. He was the son of Michele and Antonetta (Fraticelli) Arpano Marcello. He was a United States Navy Veteran of WWII. When he enlisted he was an Apprentice Seaman , then attained the rank of Water Tender Second Class. Mr. Arpano enjoyed collecting and maintaining antique cars, and playing golf at Monoosnock Country Club, where he was a longtime member. He is survived by his son, Michael Arpano and wife Sharon of Yarmouthport, MA, his three daughters, Constance Mammone, Nancy Arpano, and Patricia Arpano, all of Leominster, his brother Vildo Marcello, of Leominster, his sister, Concetta “Connie” Innamorati of Dallas, TX, his five grandchildren, Dina Gagne, Steven Mammone, Matthew Arpano, Amy Redfearn, Lori Reando, and nine great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his longtime companion, Jean Morel, of Leominster. Michele was predeceased by his brother Guido Marcello.
