Michael William Hall, 64 , unexpectedly, but peacefully passed away at his home in Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort on June 30, 2014

Michael was born August 2, 1949 in Tucson, Arizona, the youngest of Chester Albert Hall and Margaret Hedderman Hall. His education included Catalina High School in Tucson, Arizona. He received an undergraduate degree in Political Science and a minor in Psychology as well as a graduate degree in Health Care Administration both degrees were from The University of Arizona.

Michael spent over 25 years in the healthcare industry managing and owning hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities. He was President of the Elation Condominium Association and Vice-President of the Baytowne Wharf Neighborhood Association both located in the Village of Baytowne Wharf in the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort in Florida. He also served on the executive board of Sunlink Health Systems.

Michael was an avid big game hunter and was a member of the Safari Club International which allowed him to travel all over the world on various hunting expeditions. He was also an enthusiastic fisherman and traveled extensively to enjoy fishing. Golf was another of Michaels interests and was a member of both the Atlanta Country Club and the Burnt Pine Golf Club in Sandestin. Michael was a member of the Sandestin Beach Club which allowed him to enjoy our beautiful white sand beaches with his family. Michael was an avid sports enthusiast and enjoyed following his beloved Atlanta Braves and any sport involving his alma mater, the Arizona Wildcats.

He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Kathleen Graves Hall, their daughters: Melissa Anne Gillenwater and her husband William Gillenwater, and Jennifer Michelle Grabish and her husband Adam Grabish. He was most proud of his grandsons William Grant Gillenwater and Hunter Michael Gillenwater and enjoyed imparting to them his love of fishing. He is also survived by Catherine Sales, his sister and husband Amos, Douglas Hall his brother and wife Ruth, and numerous nieces and nephews.
