Michael R. Chebro, 78, of South Windham, CT beloved husband of Muriel (Roy) Chebro, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2017 at his son’s home in Ashford surrounded by his loving family. Michael was born on May 19, 1938 to the late Michael and Carolyn Chebro and grew up in Ashford. For many years, Michael worked as a substitute rural route mail carrier while working for and eventually retiring from the State of Connecticut Corrections Department, Enfield CT with the rank of Captain.
