Michael Ray Barrus, 40, of Eureka, California, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2016. Born December 9th, 1976 in Pocatello, Idaho. He was the son of Raymond and Geri Barrus. Mike was a free spirit. He enjoyed being outside, camping, or hiking. Most of all he loved the ocean. He also loved to travel. He’s been to many places around the country, but spent a lot of his time in California. Unfortunately, he fell ill and passed away in the hospital of pneumonia. Michael is survived by his son, Colin Barrus; two sisters, Shirley Beatty, and Christi Barrus; and his parents Raymond and Geri Barrus. He was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Barrus Call.
