Michael R. Rybasack, age 84, departed this life on February 24, 2022.

Born and raised in Newark, NJ, he later moved to Bayville, NJ, where he lived for 40 years.  Michael then moved to Toms River 8 years ago.

He was predeceased by infant grandson, Logan Michael, his two brothers, Frank and James Rybasack, and his parents John & Jenny Rybasack.

Surviving are his devoted wife, Luella, of 56 years, two sons, Michael Jr. and Brian (Kerry), 5 grandchildren and two great grandchildren, three sisters Mrs. Joan Peins, Mrs. Mary DeChristopher, and Mrs. Patricia Santa Maria.

Michael graduated from Essex County Vocational High School on June 21, 1955.  He was a member of the Boy Scout Troop and St. Stanislaus Parish, Newark, NJ.

Mr. Rybasack was a disabled America Veteran, serving in the Army from March 1957 to March 1959.  He was a 50 member of the DAV – National Organization.

He worked for Newark Police Department for more than 30 years, retiring in 1998 as Acting Superintendent of Police Signal System.

Mr. Rybasack attended Kean College in Union, NJ (evening classes after work) and graduate on February 20, 1977 with a Bachelor of Arts Diploma, Certified Teacher of Industrial Arts.

He always owned a boat and loved going crabbing and fishing.
