Michael Ray Getzloff, age 52, of Wisconsin Rapids (Town of Grant), passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 13, 2022.
Michael was born September 3, 1969 in Wisconsin Rapids to Gary L. and Shirley Jean (Anderson) Getzloff. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1987. Following high school, he lived in Florida for many years before moving back to Wisconsin Rapids.
Michael was a team supervisor for Wysocki Farms for the past 15 years.
Michael enjoyed the outdoors and loved hunting and working on his hobby farm. In his younger years, he was very active in the rodeo: bull riding, bronc riding, and roping. He really enjoyed being with his family and friends. He had a heart of gold as big as a bushel basket.
Michael is survived by daughter, Sierra; father, Gary Getzloff of Wisconsin Rapids; brother, Kenneth (Marcia) Getzloff of New Berlin, WI; sister, Pamela Getzloff of Beloit, WI; nieces: Courtney, Lauren, Brianna, and Caitlyn; and his grandmother, Eula Madge Anderson of Texas. He is preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Jean Getzloff; and his grandparents: George and Nona Getzloff and George Anderson.
