Michael Niccum, 59, of Anderson, passed away on April 11, 2013 unexpectedly at his residence. He was born on May 14, 1953 in Austin, Texas and resided most of his life in Anderson. He was a loving husband, father, and a loyal friend.
He will be greatly missed. Mike had worked for The California Department of Correction and the Indiana Department of Correction for many years. He was a member of Pendleton American Legion Post #117.
Mike is survived by his wife whom he married in June, 1977, Barbara Nelson Niccum, daughters, Andrea Niccum and Sarah Niccum both of Anderson; step-sons, Jason Edna Houser of California, and David Becky Houser of Florida; brothers, Brian Niccum, Anderson and Rodney Liz Niccum, Idaho; sister, Lea Jeff Davis, Markleville; grandchildren, David Houser, Brandon Houser, Roman Poor, and Jordyn Poor; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Betty Wilson Niccum; and sister, Pamela Brinkley.
