Mike died of lung cancer In Colorado Springs, Colorado on May 3, 2018. He was born in Plainfield, New Jersey on October 12, 1941 and moved with his family to Avon Lake, Ohio in 1945. Mike graduated from Avon Lake High School in 1960.
Mike’s path in life took a turn when he became involved in the golf industry. He was the General Manager of the Escondido CC, CA., the Tippecanoe CC in Youngstown, OH, and the Perry Park CC in Larkspur, CO, among others. At different times he worked at or managed golf retail stores in AZ, CA, OH, and CO. He tried, but never completely succeeded in making his brother, Randall a better golfer!
He is survived by his brother, Randall; his daughters, Kim, and Shelly; his son, Derek; their mother, Cathy Foster; and his grandchildren, Carson, Mia, Izzy, Callie, and Jace.
