Michael W. “Mickey” Fromm, age 64, of Salem died at 10:21 a.m. Sunday, June 24, 2012 at the Salem Community Hospital. He was born October 15, 1947 in Salem, Ohio, the son of Michael W. and June (Kopp) Fromm. Mr. Fromm was a 1967 graduate of Salem High School, where he played football, ran track and enjoyed shot put. Mickey was a self-employed carpenter, who enjoyed vegetable gardening and loved cats. His wife, Beth (DeJane) Fromm, whom he married March 22, 1969 survives him along with a son, Michael C. Fromm of Salem; a granddaughter, Kayla (Parker) Crissy; and grandson, Asher Blake Crissy; two sisters, Nancy (Duane) Barton of Salem and Cheryl Taus of Salem; and Devon Arend of Calcutta. A daughter, Julie Irene Fromm preceded him in death.
