Michael L. “Mikey” Thompson, 31, of Tompkinsville , KY, died at Monday, October 26, 2015 as the result of an automobile accident. He was born March 6, 1984, in Lafayette, to Michael G. Thompson and Jessica Ford. Michael was currently working at the Sun Corporation as a fork truck operator. He was a tattoo enthusiast and music lover. He also enjoyed movies, sports and was an avid reader. Surviving are his mother, Jessica Ford (husband Paul) of Waveland, father, Michael G. Thompson, of Kentucky, sister, Josie Crane (husband Freddie) of Crawfordsville, brother, Jordan Thompson of Lafayette, his maternal grandmother, Jessie Bushong of Lafayette, maternal grandfather, Ronald Bushong (companion Ronda Trueblood) of Frankfort, paternal grandmother, Mary Freitag (companion Frank White) of Lafayette, aunt, Lisa Killey her husband Nick and their two children Joseph and Cory all of Lafayette, uncle, Kenny Thompson and his wife Lisa of Lafayette, aunt, Lisa Jackson and her husband Scott and two children Emily and Austin of Wisconsin,and an uncle, Ron Bushong and his wife Dede of Lafayette and their two children, Danni and Mac. Michael was a proud uncle of his neice, Elli Crane of Crawfordsville. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Leland “Red” Thompson and a step father, John McGlothlin.
