Michael L. McCormack, 57, Anderson, passed away October 14, 2008 at Manor Care, Anderson after extended illness. He was born August 22, 1951 in Anderson, Indiana, and resided in Anderson.
Michael was a 1967 graduate of Anderson High School. He worked at Fair Way Ford in the parts department after graduation. He later moved to California in 1970 and returned to Anderson in 1998 and worked at New Castle Ford. He worked at New Castle Correctional Institute and later transferred to Pendleton Correctional Institute in 2008, where he retired.
He is survived by his mother, Vera Blotkamp McCormack; brothers, Mark McCormack and David & wife Barbara McCormack; sisters, Judy & husband Claude McCann and Patty & husband Winston Groves; two grandsons, Coty and Payne Hanna and their grandmother, Diane McCormack. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Corri J. Hanna; father, Wallace J. McCormack; grandparents, Pearl & Wallace McCormack and Clementine Blotkamp.
