Michael Joseph Davis passed away at his home in Boise, ID on February 1, 2016 at the age of 62.
Michael was born on November 29, 1953 in Seattle, WA to Jean and Joe Davis. He was involved in the Boy Scouts and earned his Eagle Scout in 1971. Later, Michael enlisted in the Coast Guard serving from 1972 to 1976. Michael was stationed in New Haven, CT as the keeper of the Stratford Point Lighthouse then he moved to La Push, WA to finish his term. Michael worked for more than 30 years in the food and beverage industry in the Pacific Northwest and Treasure Valley with companies such as Boeing, Pacific Northwest Bell, Canteen, Marriott, and the Boise Centre.
Michael is survived by his wife Denise Lee-Davis. Daughters Marcia Ward (Adam), Jennifer Hamilton (Forrest), and Lindsy Iverson (Pete). Sons Bryan Davis (Carla), and Kyle Pike. Grandkids Kelsey, Tyler, Ashely, Joseph and Soren as well as his two brothers (Steve and Pat), and four sisters (Kathleen, Margaret, Susan, and Nancy). He is preceded in death by his parents Jean and Joe Davis.
